Yeago Retrievers

My name is Eric Fryer owner of Yeago Retrievers located in Northern Utah.  I have been into the dog world for most of my 47 years in one form or another.  I have retired from Law Enforcement and spent 9 years as a K9 handler in Utah.  My partner retired in 2016 and passed in 2018.  We spent our career hunting for narcotics and had a successful career in that field.

The entire time I was in Law Enforcement I continually had retrievers and hunted hard and ran AKC Hunt Tests.  After retiring I started Yeago Retrievers to train for the highest levels of hunt tests available.  I am blessed with these K9 athletes and get to spend every day with them to shape and mold them into the best they can be.

I volunteer with multiple retriever clubs and am currently the President of our local club.  On top of that, I am a high point AKC Judge and volunteer regularly to judge and watch these amazing animals work.

I have 3 kids and one grandson, they all run multiple events a year with me and currently have 3 dogs that are competing, Trigger MH (2 National Passes) Scout MH, and Mako is our next up and comer.  Trigger will be 11 in October of ‘22 and is qualified to run the Master National in Roseburg Oregon.  He is slowing down and requires time for recovery, Fit n Fetch is what keeps him going!  Joining Trigger at this year’s Master National will be Scout and a handful of client dogs.

The adventures never ends, they just keep adding a new chapter.
